To enhance the appearance of teeth, thin, tooth-coloured shells, known as dental veneers, are bonded to the front surface of the teeth. Dental veneers are usually constructed of porcelain or resin composite materials. They are glued to your teeth over an extended period. Cosmetic issues like cracked, broken, discoloured, or smaller-than-average teeth are often treated with porcelain veneers. When a tooth is cracked or chipped, some people may only need one shell, but many people need six to eight surfaces to get a uniform, symmetrical smile.
